What is a travel advisor, and how is that different from a booking site?
A travel advisor is a real person who plans, books, and supports your trip from start to finish. A booking site sells you a room and leaves the rest to you. I design the whole journey around how you want to travel — and I’m the one who steps in when plans change.
Are travel agents worth it?
For anything bigger than a long weekend, yes. I’ve already vetted the hotels, guides, and experiences, so you skip the research — and a travel agent’s connections with hotels, major travel vendors, and tour operators can help elevate your experience. I’m an ASTA member with more than nine years and 1,000 trips behind me, and I’m in your corner if something goes wrong while you’re away.
Do you charge a fee to plan my trip?
My planning services are complimentary — I’m compensated by the hotels, cruise lines, and partners I book with. The one exception: because my business depends on trips actually being booked, after two trips researched without a booking I charge $100 for each additional trip I research. Once you book, that $100 goes toward the balance of your trip.
Is it cheaper to book through you, or to book online myself?
Usually comparable, often better — I have access to preferred rates, promotions, and amenities that aren’t published publicly. I also have the ability to price match. Where you really save is time, and the cost of booking the wrong hotel, the wrong cabin, or the wrong week.
How does working with you actually work?
We start with a discovery conversation — call, email, or text — about your goals, timing, budget range, and travel style. I design a tailored proposal and we refine it together. Once you’ve found the option you love, I handle every booking and confirmation, then stay available as your main point of contact through your return home.
How far in advance should I book?
Sooner than most people expect! For cruises, peak-season Europe, and holiday travel, nine to twelve months out gives you the best choice and the best pricing. The same can be said about theme parks like Disney World and Universal, where booking early secures your room, and any promotions — even those that are released later — can be applied to existing reservations. I can often work with much shorter timelines — tell me your dates and I’ll tell you honestly what’s realistic.

I’m based in Newtown Square and work with travelers across the Main Line, Delaware County, and Greater Philadelphia. Plenty of my clients are further afield — everything can be handled by phone, email, or video.
